ACE Automation Control Equipment Pvt Ltd plans to source components for motion control products from India. These products find application in a host of industrial segments including automotive, material handling, machine tool, packaging, textile, construction and electronics. G Senguttavan, General Manager, ACE Automation Control, told that the company will soon begin buying from India several components such as flanges, mouldings, buttons and special fasteners. ACE entered India and established an assembly facility in Chennai at an investment of Rs 5 crore a couple of months ago. It plans to strategically recruit multi-distributors in India for additional outlets to support & cater to the needs of customers who are located next door. It will initially fill gas in the shock absorbers imported from its parent company before supplying to local customers. Over time, it will expand its operations by setting up a manufacturing facility. The objective of having a presence in India is to offer technological support to customers in terms of application study and impart training.
