Controller & Instrumentation Group (CIG) of Katlax, India offers safety light curtains / safety guards with microcontroller technology for: hand protection, finger protection, protection of body / part of body. The features include: easy installation; it being unaffected by mains power fluctuations; the barrier operates on cyclic scanning photo-electric infra-red techniques; various barrier range heights are available from covering 220 mm to 700 mm; higher covering heights too are available upon request. Also, for sensors, connections are provided through plug in connectors; LED indications are provided for status indication of each channel, LED indications are there for output and sense; flexible fixing arrangements are provided to suit individual requirements and this in turn increases productivity while maintaining required safety. The light safety curtains are used for preventing injuries of hand / finger / body part, while working at machines like: power presses for metal, processing machines for wood, plastics, leather, rubber, glass, etc.
